CASE STUDY: TEEN VOGUE X MAXWELL FROST

Capturing a pivotal political moment through on-the-ground production support for Teen Vogue’s Gen Z audience.

The Story

Teen Vogue’s The Lead Up followed Maxwell Alejandro Frost, the first Gen Z congressman, during the final month of his historic campaign. The video offered an intimate look at Frost’s election day — from casting his vote to canvassing with students and celebrating his victory.

The Challenge

Teen Vogue needed a production partner in Florida who could seamlessly manage on-the-ground logistics while maintaining access to Frost’s campaign team. With a tight, fast-moving schedule and high stakes surrounding election day, the team required a producer who could quickly build trust and ensure smooth coordination between Teen Vogue’s editorial team in New York and the campaign in Orlando.

Our Approach

Industry Collective founder Tiona Langley was brought on as a freelance producer to oversee on-the-ground production. While Teen Vogue led creative direction, Tiona handled all field logistics — managing the production crew, liaising with Frost’s team, securing permissions, and ensuring seamless communication with Teen Vogue’s editorial producers.

The Results

The video premiered on Teen Vogue’s YouTube channel and social platforms, resonating with Gen Z audiences invested in political representation and youth activism. The project showcased Industry Collective’s ability to step into high-pressure, culturally significant moments and support major media outlets with thoughtful, efficient production management.
